Baa nebee is a common Timorese greeting which means means "Where are you going?". It's not uncommon for people to ask you "Baa nebee?" as you walk down the street...it's kind of like the equivalent of the Australian "how're you going?"
I will be living and working in the community of Maliana, near the border with Indonesia for 12 months. I will try to update this regularly...but will probably lapse soon after arriving!
