to form a sentence.

And I feel like an idiot because I can’t speak in either English or Tetun properly!

jenesaispaswhatyoumeanamiga. When traveling in Centro America if I didn't know what to say in Spanish I'd blurt out something in my bad (really bad) BC schoolboy French. This would really confuse people of course, which would result in the opposite of what I wanted. They'd kinda look at me like, "What are you on there buddy!"

Must be hard to find a Tetun/English dictionary? What kind of resources do you have to learn it?

I always learned spanish best by bumbling away and getting into conversations with people on the street.
